1,000 Programs Archived!
During the summer of 2003, in anticipation of our move in 2005 and to preserve our history, the ETC staff began transferring the College’s ¾” tape masters. On March 7, 2012, Preston Pugmire performed in the College’s Dining Commons. Preston’s performance has the honor of being the 1,000th program archived in our media library : http://edtech.gcc.mass.edu/video/video.html
In addition, February 25, 2009, was the day of our first YouTube upload. We are excited to report we have uploaded over 300 GCC-produced videos which have received over 90,000 hits. Last semester, with GCC's Core expansion and modernization
complete, many areas were vacated as folks moved to their
new homes in the Core.
We then began the renovation of areas that were able
to be converted to classrooms.
With this many changes the College took the
opportunity to renumber all rooms on the Main.
Campus Renovations and new room numbers generated substantial
work for the ETC staff. We are still working our way through our
database changes, photo updates and the completion of
installations. Please bear with us while we go through some
changes. Please confirm information when scheduling a room.
